Purpose:
Manage the daily operations of a non-profit petting zoo, helping to develop improvements and implement new programs.
Location:
Oaxaca, Oaxaca, Mexico
Time Commitment:
6 months minimum

Job Description:
Help recruit and manage volunteers for the farm, give tours with sensitivity exercises and facilitate discussions with children, teachers, and families, assist in developing and organizing a summer camp, implement the experiential learning cycle, teach volunteerism, help take care of the animals, support the farm on how to make systems more efficient, develop and implement program ideas for the farm.
Qualifications:
Must like animals and children, needs to speak English and have a good level of Spanish, have some experience in working with disability or human rights issues, have some people management experience and working with children, ability to work independently and make decisions, would be nice if can drive a car with a stick-shift. Creativity and imagination are a must!
Benefits:
Furnished place to live close to the farm, two meals a day, and a small salary.
