We have about 30 domestic rabbits which we breed for sale as pets and occasionally meat. We always have little ones on hand for the children to hold in their arms, and a new nest of newborns to “look, don’t touch.” Rabbits serve very well to teach children how to properly hold an animal without letting it fall out of your hands.
They eat rabbit food and vegetables. Occasionally they need anti-parasite medicine.
Daily cost: 10 Pesos each
